Why Use a Continuous Glucose Monitor?
The CGM is a unique tool that can help you develop new habits. It's relatively inexpensive, easy to apply, and helps you monitor your blood sugar levels throughout the day.
What happens when you eat a higher carbohydrate meal or snack? What difference does walking for 10 minutes make?
You may notice increased hunger or fatigue a couple of hours after meal. You can use the CGM to conduct experiments: Drink a Starbucks latte and eat a pastry; eat a high protein breakfast like eggs and bacon; have a salad before pizza or pasta; have cookies for a snack versus an apple and a handful of nuts; or have a regular soda versus a diet soda.
With this data in hand, and the support of the 12-day guided program, you'll naturally adjust some of your habits. Small changes can make a big difference.
When you are properly informed, you can make simple adjustments to improve your health. Currently 96 million Americans have prediabetes and yet only 15 million know it. Every year 10% of prediabetics progress to Type 2 diabetes and Type 3 diabetes (cognitive decline). .
The CGM is a tool that can give you information specific to your body, help raise awareness around your lifestyle habits, and empower you to make changes that matter.
Design of the Program
The program offers structure and guidance every day, from the moment you activate your CGM through the 12th day. The design is as follows:
Get Started (Activate Your Device)
Day 1-3 - Observation Only
Day 4-9 - Choose Your Daily Experiment
Day 10-12 - Design Doable Actions
The GOALS are:
1) Learn how your body regulates blood sugar relative to different foods, stress levels, sleep, and physical activity.
2) Design doable changes that will improve your blood sugar levels.
3) Facilitate weight loss, if desired.
*If you're not satisfied with the 12-day program, you can request a full refund within the first 7 days.

Data
If you have prediabetes, it would be helpful to have a recent fasting blood sugar reading and an A1C measurement from your doctor (3-month measure of average blood sugar level). This baseline data will help you assess the progress you are making.
